Taxiway Alpha Rehabilitation
This contract involved the inlay of Taxiway Alpha and tie-in to Runway 06/24 and aprons adjacent to the terminal building. Clare Civil were also contracted to break out defective Pavement Quality Concrete pavement slabs at various locations within the footprint of the proposed inlay works and replace prior to inlay commencing. Significant milling works to the existing asphalt pavements were required to facilitate the new inlay. The existing Airfield Ground Lighting system was up-graded as part of the nominated package.
